2 Corinthians 12:9

 There’s no escaping. Because of sin, man is on his way to hell. 

 Ok so that didn’t sound well. But what could we do? This is the truth that causes man to either:

• make excuses about his sin,
• make excuses about how his sin isn’t that bad,
• make excuses about how some other guy is worse than he is, or
• don’t even want to have anything to do with it.

 Sorry, mate, there’s nothing we can do. We have to face the truth just like someone who is sick with cancer will ONLY face the truth when he finds out about his condition. Well that’s Man’s condition. Man is a sinner and he’s on his way to the lake of fire.

Revelation 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

This is also why men would get out of their way and work the living day lights out of themselves to:

• do good works so hopefully the accumulation thereof will be his ticket to Heaven. (all men)
• scourge themselves and have themselves crucified. (Catholics especially Filipino Catholics)
• be baptized. (Baptists, Catholics and Protestant groups)
• be faithful. (Baptists, Catholics and Protestant groups and Muslims)
• speak in tongues. (Charismatics and some protestant groups)
• deny themselves of, well, just about everything (Buddhists)
• give money to the church. (everyone)
• give money to the poor. (everyone)
• kill infidels. (Jihadists and other radical groups be it Jew or Gentile.)

There’s one problem with all that was just mentioned. God already told us in the Bible that:

Ephesians 2:8 & 9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Titus 3:5 & 6 …Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour…

God says that we cannot do anything to save ourselves.  Because of our sin we ought to die a sinner’s death in hell but Jesus Christ paid that debt for us!

Romans 5:8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

ALL THE WORK that was necessary for the salvation of Man was done and FINISHED by the Lord Jesus Christ  when He died, was buried and the third day He rose again!

John 19:30
When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Now, friend, do you think any man can undo what God has already done? Do you think anyone can “un-finish” what God has already finished?  Hmm… I guess that about makes all the repetition of the crucifixion every holy week useless, doesn’t it?  See, when Jesus paid our debt in the cross –

Isaiah 53: 3 – 11  He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

See, we cannot do anything to save ourselves from our sin and from hell that is why Jesus did it for us and when He did, God the father was SATISFIED. This satisfaction is based on what Jesus has done. What we do, no matter how good it is, cannot satisfy God because of our sin. 

Isaiah 64:6
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. 

Man, it’s looking bleak, isn’t it? Let’s go back to the score sheets, shall we? —

• We cannot do anything to satisfy or to please God.
• The only thing that satisfied or pleased God is what Jesus did and finished.
• SO WHAT CAN BE DONE?!?!?! IT ALL SEEMS USELESS!!! MAN IS HELPLESS!!!!

Yes sir! That is what God wants us to see before anything else. You know why man can’t fully trust on what Christ did on the cross? Because He’s not satisfied with what Jesus did. He still wants to be baptized or join the choir, or complete the yuletide mass, or crawl from the back of the church all the way to the altar! Well that does not satisfy God! He’s only satisfied with what Jesus did!

Man needs to repent of his sin and from trusting that he can do something to the acknowledgment that he is totally helpless to save himself. Then and only then can he be satisfied with the sufficiency of what Jesus did. It’s that simple, friend. Jesus did all the hard part so it can be simple for us. Hallelujah, what a Savior!

How about it, friend? Maybe you’re thinking that it’s too simple to be true. Well, come back to our very first verse –

2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Maybe you’re thinking that nobody can really know that they have eternal life in Heaven. Well, see what God says –

1 John 5:13
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

 John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

 Maybe you’re thinking that there must be another way or another thing you can do because in you’re mind what we discussed is way too simple.

 John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

 Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

 So how about it friend? What would you lose if you abandoned all trust in yourself that you can save yourself and give your full trust in the Lord Jesus Christ? What would you lose? Nothing. On the other hand, what would you gain? Eternal Life! What Jesus did in the cross was sure beyond hard. Human words cannot even describe it. But what He did is sufficient so it would be simple for us.

Trust in Christ now, friend, before it is too late. No one knows when the day of his death is. It could be today. What about you? What’s stopping you from trusting in Christ’s finished work?

II.      Types of Communication

A.      Communication of Filthiness

1.            1 Corinthians 15:33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners

2.            Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

3.            Colossians 3:8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

B.      Communication of Faith

1.              Philemon 1:6 That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

2.              Galatians 2:2 And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.

C.      Communication of Fruits

A.            This is the judgment of all people who are not saved following God’s “reforming” of the Earth and Heaven (notice it’s singular- c.f. Rev. 21:1-3)

B.             Is it only for the unsaved?

• We know that as per Heb 9:27, everyone will be judged.
• We also know that the judgment of Sin for everyone was already Given to the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 2:25-31, I Pet. 3:18) and…
• ONLY faith on that finished work will erase that judgment for the born again Christian in the current economy,
• But those that reject will have to go through it themselves;
• And the judgment of our works (in the current economy) will be judged in the Judgment Seat of Christ (I Cor 3, Rev. 3:11)
• But when will the judgment for the rest of the “saved” people from the different dispensations be? (See Illus)

C.            The GWTJ is also a judgment of other “Saved” people from other dispensations.

D.            The GWTJ is also a judgment of Angels (I Cor. 1:3) by us (the Body of Christ)

III.            FRSimeon Speculations

A.            Will we literally be the Body of Christ (?), (meaning – equal as opposed to I John 3′s “like”)

B.             Since we are the body of Christ and we have our head as Christ, will we really have the mind of Christ and be omniscient as well (?)

C.             Even if Satan is gone, might there be another “Satan” that would arise again from those that are still able to sin (?) but never from the body of Christ since we are promised eternal life.

IV.            Even if the above is just speculations (or maybe even pure guess work), we are sure of the following things:

V.            Lessons to be learned

A.            We are in the Best time to be saved

B.             A better understanding of “so great a salvation” gives us a better drive to living a better Christian Life.

C.             A better understanding of “so great a salvation” leads us to tell people more about this best time to be saved and most especially our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ?

Popular teachings state that there are only two kinds of death in the bible. But if we check out very carefully the word of God, we can find out that there are not just two but four. We will discuss this later in details. Before we come to our points, it is needful for the believer to know the parts of man (body, soul, and spirit), their differences, their functions, and their destination upon death.

The difference between the body, soul, and spirit (I Thess. 5:23, Genesis 2:7):

♣ The Body – world-consciousness

- It is the flesh or the casing of the soul and spirit.

- It is through the corporeal body that a man comes into contact with the material world.

- It is where senses dwell.

♣ The Soul – self-consciousness.

- It comprises the intellect that aids us in the present state of existence and emotions, which proceed from the senses.

- It is man’s own self and reveals his personality.

- It is the seat of the emotions, affections, desires, will, and self – the “heart” in Scripture – Matt. 26:38, John 12:27.

- It is where the “self” dwells.

- It is the site of the personality.

- It is the pivot of the entire being, because man’s volition belongs to it.

- It is shaped like the body (Rev. 6:9-11, Lk. 16:23-24) and fits in it like a hand in a glove.

- It is attached to the body in a lost man, but detached in a saved man.

♣ The spirit – God-consciousness.

- It is the part by which we commune with God and by which alone we are able to apprehend and worship Him because it tells us of our relationship with God.

- It is where God dwells.

- It is associated with the mind. – I Cor. 2:11, Eph. 4:23, Rom. 1:9, Rom. 7:25, Jn. 4:24

- It is dead in an unsaved man, but being born again or regenerated in a saved man.

- Contrary to popular belief; Death is not an end, but simply a SEPARATION.

- DEATH is the separation of the body, soul, and spirit when a person dies, not an end.

- SIN causes death, and Death by sin – Rom. 5:12, 6:23

Now, here are the four kinds of death:

1. THE SPIRITUAL DEATH – Eph. 2:1, Gen. 2:17

- This death is the SEPARATION of Man from God. – Isaiah 59:2

- God told Adam and Eve that they would die “the day” they ate the forbidden fruit (Gen.2:17). But we know that Adam did not die physically until 930 years later (Gen.5:5). Since there are no mistakes in God’s Word (King James Bible), we know that the Lord was not speaking of physical death, but spiritual death. Because of Adam’s disobedience, all born into this world thereafter, except for Christ, have been born with a dead spirit. – Romans 5:12

- Examples in the Scriptures that man can be physically alive but dead spiritually:

• Matthew 8:22 – “Let the dead bury their own dead…”

• I Tim. 5:6 – “She which liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

- Every Man that is born of sin:

• They are born with a fallen nature.

• They are born the children of wrath.

• They are born with a dead spirit.

- When a man is born again he is resurrected spiritually:

• His spirit is born again.

• His soul is saved from hell.

2. THE PHYSICAL DEATH – This is the SEPARATION of the BODY from the soul and spirit.

- This does not mean that the body will cease to exist; it simply separates from the soul and spirit. It will experience temporary body sleep/death (note: death and sleep in the bible can be used interchangeably), and someday will be resurrected whether saved or unsaved. If saved he will be raised up in glory bodily, and if not, he will be raised up in damnation bodily. (We will talk more about this later on).

- Nobody can escape this kind of death (except for Enoch, Elijah, and the Rapture)

- Job 34: 15 says, “all flesh shall perish together…”

- James 2:26, says, “for a body without the spirit is dead”

- Gen. 35:18, says, “…her soul was in departing, (for she died)…”

- You see, physical death is the separation of the body from the soul and spirit.

3. THE ETERNAL DEATH – This is the SEPARATION of the SOUL from the body and spirit.

- When a person dies, his body will go back to the ground (Ecc. 12:7, Genesis 3:19), his spirit will return unto God who gave it (Ecc.12:7) or his spirit goes up unto God (Ecc. 3:21), and his SOUL will face judgment. If saved, in Heaven, and if not, in Hell.

- Only the unsaved will experience this kind of death, because this is the death of the soul in hell.

- Ezekiel 18:24, says; “the soul that sinneth it shall die.”

- The difference between this kind of death from the spiritual death is this: spiritual death is the death of the spirit while he is still physically alive, while the eternal death is the death of the soul in hell after the absence of the soul from the body during the physical death.

- Hebrews 9:27, says; “And as it is appointed unto man once to die, but after this the judgment.” The one that will face God after the SEPARATION of the body, soul, and spirit or in other words DEATH, is the SOUL, and we call this as ETERNAL DEATH or the death of the soul in hell.

4. THE FINAL/SECOND DEATH – Check out Revelation 20:5-6, 11-15, and Revelation 21:8.

- This is the REUNIFICATION of the Body and Soul unto ETERNAL SEPARATION in the Lake of Fire.

- This time the body will be resurrected from the place where it died (grave or seas), and will reunite with the soul from Hell, and will stand at that Great White Throne Judgment to be judged and be cast out into the Lake of Fire – Rev. 20:11-15.

- This is the casting of both Body and Soul in the Lake of Fire.

- Lake of Fire is different from Hell. Although they are both fiery places, Hell is just a temporary place for the unsaved that is reserved for the final judgment, which is the Great White Throne Judgment. Lake of fire is the final destination for the unsaved, where they will experience the ETERNAL SEPARATION from the Almighty GOD.

- The description of the Lake of fire in the Bible:

♣ Rev. 19:20, 21:8, 20:10 – Lake of fire burning with fire and brimstone.

♣ Matthew 25:30 – Outer darkness with weeping and gnashing of teeth.

♣ Jude 13 – The Blackness of Darkness.

♣ 2 Peter 2:17 – The Mist of darkness.

♣ Matthew 25:41 – The everlasting fire.

♣ Matthew 25:46 – The everlasting punishment.

♣ Daniel 12:2 – The everlasting shame and contempt.

♣ Matthew 13:42 – The furnace of fire with wailing and gnashing of teeth.

♣ Matthew 3:12 – The unquenchable fire.

- This is the death for the unsaved only, because the Bible says in Revelation 20:6, that, “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power,…”

- When a SAVED person experiences a Bodily resurrection—the Reunification of his body and soul at the Rapture—his body will put on immortality.  He is transformed from corruption into incorruption—the glorified body—and will spend eternity in glory with everlasting life.

-   When an UNSAVED person experiences a Bodily resurrection, this time is not in glory with everlasting life, but of shame in an everlasting fire.  This is the reunification of his body and soul at the Great White Throne Judgment.  He shall then stand before God and be cast into the lake of fire for ETERNAL SEPARATION from God, and for Eternal Condemnation.

- Revelation 20:14-15, says; “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.”

- E N D -

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

According to the general consensus, Adam was not there when Eve fell prey to the serpent’s charm.  But where the general consensus stand proud of their work, the Mighty AV1611 is careful to be concise and correct.

Adam was right next to her and even if he was, the devil sill aimed his attacks toward the woman for reasons that we will tackle later on. Remember how Jesus said that Man shall not live by bread alone but by EVERY word of God? Well consider the Following verses:

Genesis 3:1-6

1Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

How many was he talking to? One- specifically Eve (but eve actually does not get a name until after the fall. Study your bible). Here’s the question: Why was he using a Plural Pronoun? Notice the Pronouns underlined:

2And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

3But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

4And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

5For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

If there are any more questions as to why, it would do as good to read the next verse to answer the question, “Where was Adam when Eve fell into sin?”

6And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Whoa! Where did that come from? I promise you it’s not from the Greek freaks here in Manila. It’s not even from the NKJV that sells because they claim that the AV1611’s language is too hard to understand. They say that the thee’s, thou’s, ye’s, thine’s etc, are obsolete.

God says EVERY word is important. If they are, He’s not going to entrust them to a single Baptist Pope that teaches in some staff somewhere claiming he’s the walking bible lest he becomes exactly that to the ignoramuses of Baptistdom who has to rely on a self proclaimed walking bible because they’re too stinking lazy to read theirs.

But watch the next two verses.

8And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

9And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

In v.1, the Devil spoke to the woman even if Adam was there but in v.9, God spoke to the man even if the woman was there! (Hmmm— something to think about, eh?) And don’t shut me off just yet, Ladies, we know that the Devil goes after the ladies to get after the men.

If you don’t believe this, go to your local Roman Catholic Church. Matter of fact, go to your local Roman Catholic Baptist Church. Tell me if you see more men than ladies, we’ll throw a party.  NO! There’s more ladies then men most of the time!

The woman is the weaker vessel and Charity believeth all things! That’s why you need to be under a God ordained head. And men, for goodness sakes, own up to being a head. Don’t act like effeminate nonsense just for the excuse that you’re a well-mannered, cultured, soft-spoken man. While those things may arguably be reasonable, God is against effeminate men! Cowboy up!

See, the above just sets the stage for what we read in I Timothy:

8I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

9In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

10But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

11Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.

12But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

13For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

14And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

Adam was there but He was not deceived. He was right beside his bride. Jesus Christ was not deceived. He didn’t get tricked to die. He gave Himself for us.

Now look at Prov. 7:6 to 27 and follow with me in the next points.

• V.10- a harlot has a distinct attire and is subtil. Ladies do you look like a harlot?

• V.11- a harlot is loud; she has no restraint with her tongue. She says what she wants to. Simple men find this independence in her admirable because they can’t be independent themselves.

• V.11- she is Stubborn. She cannot be ruled. She will go wherever it pleases her, do whatever she likes and will say things without boundaries.

• V.11- she is not a home body. She likes to roam the streets especially in the ungodly hours. She has more of a night life and during the day, she recharges herself for the next ungodly adventure.

• V.12- she is outside and comfortable to be in the streets, away from the safety of her home.

• V.13- she is forward; she is the one that makes a move; there is no chaste boundary to guide her whatsoever.

• V.15- she is filled with lies and flattery- things which men are ready and willing to believe. These are surely the very same words she uttered to her previous customers.

• V.16-18- her wedding bed is welcome for all to lie in.

• V.19-20- she is not under her head; she is a rebellious woman that cannot be left alone well for the head to conduct business elsewhere; she cannot be trusted.

I believe we’ve had enough. In the modern day that we live in, one would think, we’d be talking about a contemporary Christian mom who’s having problems “just like everyone’s.” But if you read the Bible, we’re talking about a harlot here.

Let’s bring it in, shall we? Ladies, even if you are not one, do not act, speak, rebel, dress, or get away from your head just like the harlot of Prov. 7. Men, be the head and don’t allow your ladies to be the harlot of Prov. 7.

What does that have to do with anything? Well Adam is obviously the first Adam, correct? No brainer. And Christ is the second Adam. To be precise, the AV1611 uses the word “Last” Adam just to be sure there’s no third, fourth or fifth self proclaimed Adams just like the big head in Davao.

If Christ is the Last Adam, therefore, His bride must also be the last Eve. Christ’s bride is not a harlot. She’s a chaste virgin! So, for your testimony’s sakes, don’t be one!

- Have you ever considered why different churches disagree on many of the major doctrines, yet most of the churches use the bible to prove their own doctrinal beliefs? Because they make the Bible say whatever they want it to say. You can make the Bible say whatever you want it to say, simply by ignoring the context.

- Not every commandment in the bible is directed to us who lives in the church age. We cannot, and should not follow, or to attempt to follow every commandment given in the scriptures.

- Consider these following verses: Gen. 6:14, Gen. 12:1-5, Lev. 4:20.

- When we approach the scripture it is needful for everyone to know whose mail is it. You must remember that the entire bible is FOR us but not all of it is WRITTEN TO US.

- I Cor. 10:32 – some are to the Jews, Gentiles, and to the Church of God (saints).

- The Bible is divided into groupings based on different dispensations, and based upon the group of people to whom God is speaking. Sometimes you can find in the Bible that some are for…

• The Jews under the law

• The Gentiles

• The Christian living today ( Church of God)

• The Tribulation saints

• The person living in the Millennium

- That’s why some men concluded that the Bible is confusing, contradicting, and with

errors, because they claim that the entire bible was written for them. If you will do that, you will simply conclude that the Bible is inconsistent and contradictory which is supposedly not.

- Consider these apparent contradictory teaching made by various churches, using

The scripture to prove their particular position:

♣ Matthew 5:9, 22, 44-45, 24:13

♣ Luke 18:18-22

♣ Acts 2:38

♣ Hebrews 3:6, 3:14, 6:4-5, 10:26-31, 12:14-15

♣ James 2:24, 5:1-5, 14-15

♣ Revelation 2:7, 11, 3:5, 12:17, 13:7, 149-12

♣ Philippians 2:12-13

- False teaching in various cults, Christian churches, and other apostate Baptist quoted these verses for their doctrinal stand. They are misled with errors in their belief because they are not careful enough in interpreting the scriptures, or maybe laziness in studying the bible, or maybe they just have big heads but with a smaller brain trying to pretend that they are better than the bible, and wanting to be the “Bida” rather than the pages of the word of God.

- However, the Bible is not contradictory, and without any mixture of error! It is all truth and nothing but the truth. To those people who said that there is something wrong with the bible, actually it’s not the bible that has something wrong; it’s them who has something wrong. The missing element concerning this matter is the right division in interpreting the word of truth.

Now, let’s try to reconcile scriptures which have an apparent contradiction:

(Note : In the following numeric points, I compare two doctrines. The first doctrinal statement cannot be and in no way be applied doctrinally to us church age saints today. Some of these verses are for the Jews under the law, for the tribulation saints, and some for the person living in the millennium. The second doctrinal statement is all quoted from the Pauline Epistles which is purposely written to us saints today.)

Now observe these two doctrinal statements. They seem to be contradicting but they are not. All we have to do is to place them to whom they were written to, and to place them in its proper dispensational setting.   In other words, is to rightly divide the word of truth (II Tim. 2:15).

Here are some of the examples:

1. An EYE for an EYE- (Ex. 21:23) versus

Living Peaceably – ( Rom. 12:17)

2. Salvation through works- ( Luke 18:18-22) versus

Salvation through Grace alone. (Eph. 2:8-9)

3. Salvation for the Jews – (Matt. 10:15, 15:24) versus

Salvation for the Gentiles – (Rom. 1:16, 2 Tim. 1:11)

4. The Gospel of the Kingdom ( Matt. 3:1, 4:17, 9:35, 10:5) versus

The Gospel of the Grace of God ( I Cor. 1:17-18, 15:1-3, Eph. 3:1, Rom. 1:17, Gal. 1:11)

5. Tithing ( Mal. 3:8-12, Lev. 27: 30-32) Versus Grace giving (2 Cor. 9:6-7)

6. Forgiveness of sins (on going act)- Matt. 6:14 versus Forgiven (past)-Eph. 4:32

7. Backsliders without Forgiveness (no second chances)- Heb. 6:14 versus

Restoration of Backsliders – (Gal. 6:1)

8. Losing Salvation (Matt. 24:13, Heb. 10:26) Versus

Eternal Security (Rom. 8:1, 35)

9. Conditional Security (Heb. 3:6,14) Versus Unconditional Security (Eph. 3:6)

10. Baptism for Salvation (Acts 2:38) Versus

Baptism as picture for Salvation (Col. 2:11-12)

11. Losing the Spirit of God (I Sam. 16:13-14, Psalm 51:10) Versus

Sealed by the Spirit of God until redemption (Eph. 1:13, 4:30)

12. The Just shall live by his faith (Hab. 2:4) Versus

The Just shall live by faith (in Christ) – Rom. 1:17, Gal. 2:20

13. In the hand of God (Jn. 10:28) versus

Being the hand of God (Eph. 5:30)

With every comparison, Christians should more fully recognize that we are living in the greatest period of time ever. God lives in us (Eph. 2:22) and nothing can separate us from Him (Rom. 8:35-39). We have an absolute authority (AV 1611King James Bible) and an absolute guide (the Holy Spirit) and an absolute faith (the faith of the Lord Jesus Christ).
